In addition to family law, Carter Legal Services provides representation for both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. Conveniently located at the intersection of South First Street and Ninth Avenue South in downtown Hopkins, Carter Legal Services has been providing affordable legal services in Minneapolis and the western suburbs for more than 20 years.

For your convenience, payment plans are available for most legal services and a sliding fee scale for low-income clients. Bankruptcy, uncontested marriage dissolution and wills are generally handled for a flat fee.
Carter Legal Services, P.A. is owned and operated by Mark Carter, an attorney licensed to practice law in both state and Federal courts in Minnesota. He was named a “Super Lawyers” in the area of family law by Law and Politics magazine.
